The Production Process
Teams produce a “TV-style commercial” that incorporates the organizational message. Teams create a concept, write a script, make props and scenery, act and rehearse, then tape their production.
We provide the necessary tools, including digital cameras, tripods and lights, for each team to accomplish their goals. Production Assistants are assigned to each team and help facilitate each phase of the production. A designated camera person from each team tapes the production – or our Production Assistants do it for them.
Each team receives a production kit which contains a time-line, storyboards, paper and pens, poster board, markers and other sundry items to help create scenery, signs, etc. We also provide a colorful array of costumes, from western to construction and medical to military, complete with accompanying props such as barricades and beards, hats and wigs for added color!
ypically it takes 2 to 3 hours to complete a production; however, this varies according to the needs of the group. Teams utilize the time-frame for the creative process, rehearsal and finally taping of the production.
Team Building Productions edits on site after all teams have completed their productions, and within a few hours the edited version is ready for viewing.
Within 48 hours edited copies of the entire production are available for all team members (and are included with each production).
